FRANKLIN, MA – The Dean College Women’s soccer team fell to the Regis College Pride 5-0 Wednesday at Grant Field.

Although the game didn’t go in her favor, Gerow made six saves, which pushed her over 200 career saves, a major milestone for the Senior. When asked about going out one last time on home turf, Gerow responded with, “It meant the world to go out with the girls I get to call family… these girls have been what keep me going in terms of playing and being the best athlete I can.”

The Bulldogs registered three shots in the first half, the first was from Kenzie Sherburne which was saved by Regis goalie Cassidy Van Cott. Schnitzer also had a pop, but it was just over the bar. One last shot from Sarah Fortin, saved by Van Cott again, saw the Pride take a 2-0 lead into the half.

The second half saw a livelier Dean College team as they were able to record eight shots with four of them being on target. The Bulldogs also made a change in net as they brought on Gerow for the second half.

Even with the changes to personnel, and play style, Regis scored three more goals to end the game.

The Bulldogs fall to 2-12-2, and will travel to Newton MA, on Saturday to face off against Lasell University at 12pm.
