Upcoming Movie: Search for SquarePants

On December 19th, 2025 Paramount Pictures is coming out with  a new Sponegebob movie called Search For SquarePants. The story is about Spongebob proving how brave he is by going to the deepest parts of the ocean with the most famous ghost Flying Dutchman.

Spongebob has faced a lot of scary creactures in his past movies and David Hasselhoff can not save Spongebob this time since David is 73 years old. According to box office mojo, In the past Sponegebob movies have done significantly well with the most profit a movie has made was in 2015 Spongebob Out of Water raising $325 million dollars. The most recent Spongebob movie (Sponge on the Run) did flop raising $4.8 million dollars. Now this movie was distributed in 2020 and we all know what happened in 2020 the whole world shut down because of Covid 19.

It is hard to determine what the profit would be. This new movie does sound more interesting because Spongebob always talks about how brave he is but he does not show it frequently. The voices are still going to be played by the original cast but a surprise guest is Ice Spice being in the movie. Ice Spice will voice a character that has her famous orange afro on a fish that is appears to be working at Bikini Bottom High School. Ice Spice is also dropping her new song "Big Guy" to tie in with the Spongebob release.

With this movie coming out in a month Burger King was inspired by this movie. Burger King has turned Bikini Bottom into reality with new menu ideas such as: Mr. Krabs' Cheesy Bacon Tots, Frozen Pineapple float, Patrick's Star-berry Shortcake pie, and hands down one of the most iconic cartoons food the Krabby Patty burger will be at Burger King. All of these food items will be held at all of the Burger Kings on December 2nd, 2025. This movie has a lot of hype and support around it. What will the outcome will be.
