Women's Lacrosse Beats Mitchell 9-6

The Dean Women’s Lacrosse team is getting more heated up as they pick up their second win of the season against Mitchell College 9-6. It’s a proud moment for Bella McQuade as well as she scores 4 goals this game for a hat trick.
Just off the first half, the game's pace was already set. The first two goals of the game were already scored. The first goal was by Caroline Ramsey and the second goal by Ali Murphy who had a hat trick game last week against Regis College. The first period ended at 2-1 in Dean's favor.
The second period started off with the game becoming tied but not even a minute later, we got a free position goal from Emma Mock. And shortly afterwards, we got two goals from Bella McQuade. One of them being a free position shot. While Dean was ahead, the game was still close as the first half ended 5-4.

Heading into the third quarter, Dean extended their lead by a mile. Bella McQuade picked up her third goal, solidifying her hat trick for the game. Shortly after, Ailey Pequita scored with an assist from Emma Mock. Mock didn't slow down at all however as she scores another goal shortly after. Bella McQuade scored another goal for her 4th goal of the game with an assist from Mock, thus ending the 3rd quarter 9-5.
Throughout the 4th quarter, Dean displayed an amazing amount of defense to end off the game with 4 saves at the 4th quarter and a grand total of 8 saves through
the whole game.
With this win in the belt, the Dean women’s lacrosse team are going for gold as they prepare to take on Albertus Magnus College on Wednesday April 8th.
