Bulldogs Come up Short to the Bears at Home 55-18

The Dean Bulldogs looked to hit the ground running again at home on Saturday against the Bridgewater Bears having just secured the first program win in over two seasons the week prior.
However, the Bears had other plans as two rushing touchdowns by running back Andrew Cloutman would go unanswered by Dean in the first quarter. It would be the Bears who did enough to propel them to a 55-18 victory.
The Bulldogs would open the second quarter with a rushing touchdown from running back Yasir Moses, in what would be a very running focused football game. As all Bridgewaters plays would be on the run, recording zero throwing yards in the game.

Dean quarterback Chris Donohue would however find connections to fellow Dean wide receivers Darrion Kimball and Tay Sholtz in the end zone in the second half of the game to bring Dean's score to 18 for the game.
Individually, Donohue threw for an impressive 243 yards, 2 touchdowns, and only 1 interception while also having a total of 50 rushing yards. It was an impressive game coming off of the win for the Senior.
Wide receiver Da’Qwon Foster for the Bulldogs also had an impressive 113 receiving yards on the day, and all things considered it was a hard-fought day for the bulldogs ending in 18-55 Bridgewater.
